SOFA PETS
Sofa Pets is a five-piece guitar pop group from Finland. The band was founded when Anssi Rasmus who is also known as the guitar player of Big Wave Riders played some of his home recordings to a group of friends who shared a mutual passion for atmospheric guitar music. Quickly the group was already making songs in the rehearsal place and Sofa Pets was reality. In their music one can hear influences from such bands as War on Drugs, Real Estate and Wilco. Their songs capture diverse feelings with floating guitar melodies and layered instruments. Insane Sea is the first single release from their upcoming six-song debut mini-album.
